The manufacturer of fiesta/fiestaware dinnerware has been Homer Laughlin China locatel in Newell, WV. on the Ohio River.
The ideal of making mass produced pottery ware began near East Livepool, Ohio in around 1840. The first decades saw the dishes made from crude yellow clay. Later, the public interest shifted toward
white clay as we saw the Laughlin brothers start their own pottery in 1871. The rest in history. Fiesta was created in the 1930.. and the rest is history. The company became a supplier for the Woolworth Department Store chain and became one of the largest potteries in the world.
Thirty dollars could get you 218 pieces of fiestare back in the day.
